UX/UI designer
My time at Chamberlain was very fruitful and special. I learned about iOT and the relationship between smart products and the interfaces and how important these become in creating an optimal user experience. I worked in one week design sprints through Agile with a team of developers and a product owner. In addition, our team of product designers and developers created a future concept for commercial door technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Created and maintained user interface assets for developers in design sprints
Advocated for the user during user flow brainstorms. Identified discrepancies between physical design and interface design.
Campaigned to maintain consistency through design asset. Maintained style guide for sprint teams.
Communicated design decisions, through user centered lenses, clearly to all parties.
Created new design concepts for future projects, while branding and identifying future trends.
Major Contributions:
Designer for Agile sprint team of developers and product owners. Created and distributed assets through Sympli and JIRA. Conceptualized user journeys with product owner. Assessed user-centered design approach for alignment of plans with physical product and interface.
Lead designer of car user-interface concept for CES 2019 show. Worked with information architect, product owner, and developer to create a synergetic experience through user interface and video displays of smart home devices. Designed UI. Shot and edited video content before passing assets to the developer.
UX/UI designer for commercial door concept. Researched commercial door facilities. Identified stakeholders and end users. Created journey maps and user flows. Worked with product designers for screen specs. Created user-interface and handed off assets to front end developers. Presented concepts to C-suite and other leadership teams.
